About Us

In 2022, we started The Play Studio at FreeRange Lifestyle Centre in Fourways. We loved this beautiful space and grew an amazing community. We closed our studio in March 2024 as our family grew and we decided to focus on birthday parties and events.

Our Play Studio Caravan was launched in February 2024. This caravan offers sensory play parties, art parties and mini soft play hire. 

Michelle is the owner of The Play Studio and a mom of two beautiful children, Lea who is 7 years old and Nathan who is 6 months old. With a background in teaching and learning support, Michelle has a love for children & supporting families, especially moms. 

Michelle's journey as a mother has been filled with so much joy and many blessings, but she has also endured three pregnancy losses and heartbreak. Through meeting moms through The Play Studio community, Michelle found healing and is always willing to support other women and mothers through their losses.

Our Play Studio community is a wonderful family to be apart of and we launched our Community Playdates in April 2024. We meet a various venues once/twice a month with our children and enjoy each other's company. Should you be looking for a community to join, we would love to welcome you to ours! 

Our Mama Meet ups are wonderful events for our moms to come together and make time for themselves. Filled with guest speakers and wonderful activities, these events promise to be fun, relaxing and a way for us all to connect.
